Quite frankly... this
is the best show on television.
I will admit it. I caught on to "Mad
Men" a little late. I heard about it
from friends and family. I saw all the
Emmy's and Golden Globes it won. And
finally, I slipped the first three episodes
of Season 1 into my Netflix queue.
And now I am utterly
hooked... Hooked on the style... Hooked on
the underlying tension... Hooked on the
magnificent writing... Hooked on the pitch
perfect cast... Hooked on the gorgeous
women... Hooked on the fascinating
three-dimensional characters.
I am hooked on the
best TV drama I've seen in years.
"Mad Men" is better
than 95% of movies released each year.
It is riveting, entertaining, witty,
intelligent... (insert your positive
adjective here).
I can't wait for the
next episodes to arrive tomorrow. I
can't wait to get to season 2 by watching
them "On Demand" through my cable package.
The show is so damn
authentic, that I feel like drinking scotch
and banging my secretary all day, every day.
Do yourself and your
friends a favor -- start watching "Mad Men"
at your earliest convenience!!!
